About Us

We believe that therapy should be collaborative, and we will invite you to share your hopes for therapy, as well as your reservations about the process. We will work with you to uncover what led you to reach out, and what works best for you in therapy. Your story is particular and specific to you, and we will ask for your guidance as we lead you around the blind corners of your own life.

Stylistically, we believe in direct and transparent communication, and in making as much space for laughter as for other challenging emotions that can come up in therapy. We will help you give up your anger, carry your grief, smoothe out your worries, or tame your sadness until it no longer overwhelms. We are committed to providing a safe and respectful therapeutic space, where you are treated with compassion, but also challenged to reconsider your thoughts, feelings, and relationships with yourself and others in important and meaningful ways. We look forward to meeting you.
